Nicky's Coal Fired


Nicky’s Coal Fired is a venture between award-winning chef/partner Tony Galzin and gm/partner Caroline Galzin. The heart of the seasonal Italian focused menu are dishes cooked in the four-ton, coal fired oven, the first of its kind in Nashville. 

Housed in the Stocking 51 Building (formerly the Belle Meade Hosiery Mill), Nicky’s is in the bourgeoning Nations neighborhood of West Nashville and the 100-seat restaurant includes a spacious patio space where our two gardens are located.

I have created a boutique kitchen herb garden, visible to patrons who dine on the patio.  Our crop selection includes green fennel, genovese basil, spearmint and lemon mint, rosemary, lavender, chard, lemon thyme, citrus begonia, bay laurel, chives, pineapple sage, purslane, geranium and nasturtium.
